Aberamffra is a self-catering holiday cottage available for rent throughout the year. It offers two-bedrooms (sleeps up to six) with the option of a separately accessed ‘bunkroom’ with a further four sleeping places. The cottage sits on a low cliff overlooking the Mawddach Estuary, Cadair Idris and the mountains of southern Snowdonia beyond. The views are truly breathtaking – amongst the best in the UK – and the ever changing face of the estuary panorama is an endless source of fascination.

Whilst the cottage offers a sense of being 'away from it all' the holiday town of Barmouth is only a 10-15 minute walk away offering shops and amenities. There is a wonderful beach which stretches northwards for miles. Walking, fishing, boating and crabbing are popular activities. Inland along the Estuary about eight miles away is Dolgellau, offering a very different character to Barmouth. Lying at the foot of Cadair Idris the town is a popular centre for walkers and climbers. The area offers a wide range of pubs and restaurants, as well as activities such as mountain biking and pony trekking.
